Route du cremant
On both sides of the Seine, at only 2h30 of Paris and 3h of Lyon by car, the Pays Châtillonnais cultivates a two-thousand-year-old wine-making tradition. It is from now on the kingdom of the Cremant of Burgundy, white or pinkish wine, apreciated for its fine bubbles.
To leave on meeting of this sophisticated wine and take advantage of the Burgundian hospitality, follow the Road of the Cremant. On 120km, this route crosses 23 classified municipalities "AOC Cremant of Burgundy" and leads you near domains. There, th wine growers develop of the Cremant of Burgundy, but also Burgundy red and Burgundy whites, to discover with delight.
In their cellars, the wine growers receive you to share with you the fruit of their work. You can also join them in Châtillon-sur-Seine to celebrate the spring, every third weekend of March. The Fête du Crémant and the Tape Chaudrons group on average 5000 people, the time of a tasting and a colourful parade !
